12/19/16 review of passage of Denver's gender-neutral bathroom law

Here is the link to my Twitter thread review of the December, 2016, Denver City Council meeting where the city passed its gender-neutral single-person bathroom law.

The thread discusses the details and context of the law. It discusses the reasons for the law. And it discusses Denver's efforts to be an inclusive and welcoming city for everybody. The thread also discusses the work on the law done by One Colorado, Colorado's leading advocacy organization for LGBTQ Coloradans and their families.

12/13/14 review of RedLine Denver EPIC Arts Fall 2014 show

Here is the link to my Twitter thread review of the EPIC Arts Fall 2014 Youth Exhibition at the RedLine Contemporary Art Center.

The EPIC Arts show brings together art classes from schools around Denver, Colorado, and places them with RedLine's resident artists to create multimedia art projects inspired by various themes -- such as, for this show, social issues. My thread shows a lot of pictures from the show, which I really enjoyed.

10/21/15 review of documentary Just Eat It

Here is the link to my Twitter thread review of the documentary Just Eat It, directed by Grant Baldwin and produced by Jenny Rustemeyer.

My Twitter thread discusses how Baldwin and Rustemeyer documented their effort to eat nothing but wasted or thrown out food for six months. It also discusses how food is wasted, what authorities on the subject say, and how people are making positive changes to stop food waste.

Here is the link to the website for Just Eat It.

I saw this film at the EXDO Event Center, an awesome multi-use event space in Denver, Colorado.

10/15/15 review of discussion about Denver Performing Arts Complex

Here is the link to my Twitter thread review of a public discussion Denver Arts & Venues had about the future of the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

My thread discusses the role of Denver Arts & Venues, the department's Imagine 2020 plan, and how the Next Stage plan for the Denver Performing Arts Complex fits into the Imagine 2020 plan. A lot of the discussion included the firm H3 Hardy, which proposed redesigning he complex so that there would be a better connection with the rest of Downtown and the complex could serve as an art hub for the area.

Here is the link to the Imagine 2020 plan for Denver Arts & Venues.

I haven't heard much about the Next Stage plan for the DPAC. But here is the link to info that's currently available about it.
