The thread discusses my opinions about the dramatic focus of the film. It discusses some of Eddie Redmayne's roles and possible character preferences. It discusses some of the fashion of the film. I discussed some of my favorite performances. I discuss the use of the female gaze in the film. I also discuss some of the flaws I felt existed with the character portrayals in the film. 11/21/15 review of Transgender Day of Remembrance vigil

Here is the link to my Twitter thread review of Colorado's 2015 Transgender Day of Remembrance vigil.

The vigil was held at the Jefferson Unitarian Church in Golden, Colorado, and memorialized the over 300 transgender people who had been killed globally in 2015. Via letter, the day was proclaimed as Transgender Day of Remembrance in Colorado by Governor John Hickenlooper. My thread discusses some of the emotions I and others felt during the memorial. It also discusses some of the groups that help raise awareness of LGBTQ issues in Colorado.

One Colorado is Colorado's leading advocacy group for LGBTQ Coloradans and their families. Their Transparent report was the first report of its kind in the United States. It was a study of the quality of healthcare for transgender people in Colorado. Incredible report. My thread basically gives some of the highlights.
