11/7/18 review of my personal experiences during the 2018 election cycle

Here is the link to my November 7, 2018, Twitter thread discussion about things that were happening in my life during the 2018 election cycle.

This thread is kind of weird and very personal. Nevertheless, I do feel it's important. I'd like to address some of the stuff I discuss in this thread. But I honestly feel, even these days, like the stuff I'm describing here is too painful and personal for me to untangle in a rational way.

I will say a couple things, though.

First -- Sometimes it really sucks to be biracial. I love my Chicano side. And I love my Irish side. But sometimes I really hate feeling stuck in the middle of two races, and, honestly, not really wanted by either one.

Second -- Stalking is a very real thing. I'm not the only person who has been stalked to the degree that I've been stalked. It's a widespread phenomenon. And people need to talk about it a lot more.

Third -- If you are a politician -- just try to be nice to your constituents. Try to be nice to your potential constituents. Don't turn some of your constituents against others in your constituency. And if you lose your race, still be nice. Please.

Twitter's platform has twisted each of my threads through 2018 and 2019 out of chronological order. This thread is affected, but is still mostly coherent. My apologies.
