One reason I wrote this thread was to give people who liked my Twitter threads a chance to read anything else by me they might like to read. I pinned the thread at the top of my profile so anybody who visited could access all my old writings somewhat easily.
However -- another reason I wrote this thread was because it really was hurting me that there were so many people treating me mean on Twitter. A lot of these people knew me in real life. Some had known me for years. But many were, right around this time, acting like they didn't know me, and acting like I was some nobody who had just popped up out of thin air.
My online writings go back to 2009 -- mostly things like fanfiction and blogs before I started Twitter in 2012. But my online writings also go back, via things like transcriptions of my dream journals, to 2004. I also even included some of my old professional writings from when I was an analyst on Wall Street, from 2006 to 2011.
I was trying, as well as I could, to show people -- I'm not just some random person who popped up one day. I've been doing stuff for a while now. Some people listened to me. But the people who wanted to be mean to me just kept being mean.
Twitter's platform has twisted each of my threads through 2018 and 2019 out of chronological order. This thread is very affected, and is only somewhat coherent. My apologies.
