The thread gives a summary of the novel and some background on the Nancy Drew series and my experiences reading it. The thread discusses how the book plays with form. It explores a lot of what I call the "femme-social" aspects of the book, as well as some very clear moments of girl-girl attraction and eroticism in the book. The thread also discusses aspects of Nancy's attraction to her father, her wish to have a mother and to be a mother, and her desire to be individualistic and not tied to anybody at all romantically.

The thread gives a summary of the book. It gives a bit of context on the women behind the pseudonym "Carolyn Keene," which I hadn't known much about before. It discusses some of the book's themes, like justice, the relationship between Nancy and her father, Nancy's "sales" techniques. The thread discusses the book's form, as well as some aspects I saw as potentially queer aspects of the book. And it discusses how the story is empowering for girls.

Unfortunately, this is yet another thread that somehow has been twisted all around by the Twitter platform. So the thread doesn't read very coherently.
