10/10/20 the increasingly severe rhetoric of US laws about youth sexuality
Here is the link to my October 10, 2020, Twitter thread, where I list some documents I'd already studied, and some documents I haven't yet studied, that point to a transition in US law, from calling illicit youth sexuality "delinquency," to calling it "exploitation," and eventually, while still calling it "exploitation," linking it under the heading of "human trafficking" in a wide variety of situations.

8/14/20 review of the 1977 Congressional hearings on the sexual exploitation of children
Here is the link to my August 14, 2020, Twitter thread review of the 1977 Congressional hearings on the sexual exploitation of children.
These hearings are also known as the hearings on child pornography. This is an incredibly important document for many reasons, and I wish more people would read it -- especially LGBTQ people interested in preserving their rights, and anybody at all wishing to preserve freedom of expression in America.
Thank you for reading. Please enjoy.
8/7/20 thoughts on the TikTok scandal, COPPA, and Sec. 230
Here is the link to my August 7, 2020, Twitter thread of thoughts about the role the TikTok scandal was playing in generating more consensus in America for things like updates to COPPA and Sec. 230, which I feel could destroy freedom of speech online.

5/24/20 thoughts about homeless LGBTQ youth
Here is the link to my May 24, 2020, Twitter thread about homeless youth and, in particular, homeless LGBTQ youth.

2/13/20 discussion about Judy Blume beyond Margaret
Here is the link to my February 13, 2020, Twitter thread discussion, around the time that it was announced that a movie adaptation of Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret. was in the works, about why other works by Blume, such as Wifey and Summer Sisters, which depict not only youth sex, but even lesbian youth sex, should be considered today by anybody who praises Judy Blume but also derides even the mention of the actual physical act of youth sex.

1/19/20 second review of James Kincaid's book Erotic Innocence
Here is the link to my January 19, 2020, Twitter thread, which is a second review of James Kincaid's book Erotic Innocence, as I felt my first review really hadn't done a good job of hitting the big, main points of the book.
Thank you for reading. Please enjoy.
1/18/20 review of the book Erotic Innocence, by James R. Kincaid
Here is the link to my January 18, 2020, Twitter thread review of the book Erotic Innocence: The Culture of Child Molesting, by James R. Kincaid.

6/27/19 review of Fulfil! Guidance document for the implementation of young people's sexual rights
Here is the link to my June 27, 2019, Twitter thread review of the Fulfil! guidance document for the implementation of young people's sexual rights, made by the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and the World Association for Sexual Health.
Twitter's platform has twisted each of my threads through 2018 and 2019 out of chronological order. This thread is affected, but is still moderately coherent. My apologies.
Thank you for reading. Please enjoy.
6/26/19 thread about COPPA 2.0
Here is the link to my June 26, 2019, Twitter thread discussion about COPPA 2.0 -- legislation which proposed a number of different restrictions to youth access to the internet, including raising the "internet age of consent" from 13 to 16 years.
Twitter's platform has twisted each of my threads through 2018 and 2019 out of chronological order. This thread is affected, but is still moderately coherent. My apologies.
Thank you for reading. Please enjoy.
6/25/19 thread about ACT UP, Aner Candelario, and NAMBLA
Here is the link to my June 25, 2019, Twitter thread discussion about the ACT UP Oral History Project interview with Aner Candelario.
I found, and still find, this interview very important, because Candelario talks about boys in ACT UP who were lovers with men. A lot of these boys were part of the North American Man Boy Love Association. They were boys who were lovers with men and were fighting for their love to be decriminalized.
People have really suppressed this aspect of the gay rights movement, especially since the huge push for sexual conservatism (partly via welfare reform and neoliberalism) in the early 1990s.
6/25/19 discussion about young brains and consent to sex
Here is the link to my June 25, 2019, Twitter thread discussion criticizing arguments some people were promoting again around this time, that the brain of people under 18 is actually not developed enough to consent to sex.
Twitter's platform has twisted each of my threads through 2018 and 2019 out of chronological order. This thread is affected, but is still mostly coherent. My apologies.
Thank you for reading. Please enjoy.
