Here is the link to my Twitter thread review of the Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema's encore screening of Ivan the Terrible.

My Twitter thread discusses some comparisons between the ballet and Eisenstein's film. It also discusses the use of color in the ballets stage design, the emotional and physical demands of the ballet, the use of poise in the ballet, and the modernist feel of the work.
